The development of soft & hard tissues replacement (Sinus grafts, bone growth, gingival graft, Implant & variety of abutments, adhesive dentistry with stronger resins & porcelains) has broadened our ability to treat disease and esthetic enhancement of teeth. But these new techniques complicated our treatment-planning process.

With development of these new treatment modalities, Dentists are abandoning certain forms of traditional well tested prosthodontic treatments. In the past, one accepted approach for single condition was the standard but now many treatment possibilities exist.
